Keynote Announcement

The 48th annual Northern Ohio Human Resource Conference (NOHRC), scheduled for Friday, March 14th, is pleased to announce our Keynote speaker…..Stuart Crabb!!

Stuart is the current Head of Learning and Development at Facebook. In his role at Facebook, he is responsible for supporting organizational performance through the deployment of learning programs, consulting services and tools. This includes a specific focus on new hire acculturation, professional skills development, manager effectiveness, building high performance teams and leadership development. Prior to Facebook, he ran his own consulting practice specializing in international leadership consulting. He is a former Head of Talent Development at Yahoo, and held additional positions at The Marcus Buckingham Company, Siemens, Compaq/HP, Portal Software/Oracle and British Aerospace.

Stuart’s session, “The Changing Face of Work”, will teach you how to communicate your organization’s mission and values in a way that is meaningful to the current generational workforce, utilize an appraisal processes that connects the workforce to the organization by stressing communication, participation and personal growth, and customize your organization’s people strategy to connect with and motivate today’s generation by using modeling, communication and coaching.

Kicking off our conference as the morning keynote speakers will be Jason Lauritsen and Joe Gerstandt of Talent Anarchy. Their session, “Unmanagement : Confronting the Inconvenient Truth about Innovation”, will provide a deeper understanding of innovation and common misconceptions about how it works. Here, you will discover why the true opportunity for unleashing innovation lies within your culture, not in more management process and how to foster innovation as a leader by cultivating connection, inclusion and liberation within your organization.
